ONGC Supported Health Camps

Elders for Elders Foundation conducted a health camp with the support of ONGC- Cauvery asset, Karaikal to provide free health services to the people of 7 locations. The major activities in these camps were General Health Check, eye screening and provision of spectacles. Following table shows the details of camps conducted;

Community Based Palliative Care

This is a community run model in Cuddalore District, Palliative service are offered through established sub centres in the villages.

2021-2022

Under this project in the year 2021 to 2022, Elders for Elders Foundation conducted village health clinic, cataract screening camp in Ramanathapuram district Palliative Care Project- Cuddalore : Under this project eye camp was organized in Singarathoppu village of Cuddalore

During this year Multi speciality camp , cartract screening and surgery camp and village clinic were conducted in Ramanathapuram district.

Details of the Organization's Largest Recent Project and Its Financial Implications

PROJECT AALAMBANA

The Aalambana Project in Mandapam Block, Ramanathapuram District, Tamilnadu was initiated aiming at a three-pronged approach to address the perceived needs of the elderly namely Social Inclusion, Financial Inclusion and Health Inclusion. The processes of Inclusion of Elderly would be supported by the Elders Self Help Groups (ESHGs) and their higher order Federations at the Village and Cluster levels. Through various interventions under this project, it was envisaged to reach about 4140 elderly and bring about a positive impact in their lives.
